Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT, PsyD) practicing in Los Angeles, offering both in-person and virtual sessions. I’ve been in clinical practice for over a decade, blending insight from psychoanalytic training with practical therapy approaches to help individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges.

Before moving into therapy, I spent many years as a performing musician and mid-level executive in large organizations, and I’ve lived and worked in several countries. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for personal complexity, emotional nuance, and the challenges people face across different life stages and cultural contexts.

I specialize in depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and emotional stuckness — and I’m committed to helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in psychoanalytic theory and technique, which means we’ll look beyond surface symptoms to understand what’s shaping your inner experience and patterns in relationships. At the same time, I keep the focus practical: together we explore who you are in the present moment and how that awareness can lead to shifts in your behavior, emotions, and overall sense of wellbeing.

I bring curiosity, depth, and calm to sessions, and I welcome clients who are ready to explore both how they feel and why they feel that way. Therapy is a collaborative journey. I help you describe what’s going on inside you so it becomes less tangled and more workable.

What you can expect from me

In our first meeting, we’ll get a sense of what brought you to therapy, talk about what’s happening right now in your life, and begin to identify your goals. We’ll also take time to make sure the fit feels right — connection matters as much as technique. You can expect a thoughtful, reflective conversation where your experience and concerns are respected and taken seriously. Building a treatment plan and goals will begin in this session, and we’ll shape them together as clearly as possible.
