Hello, I’m Teresa Haro, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California [License #117156], focused on providing comprehensive Telehealth services in California. Conditions like trauma (PTSD, complex trauma), depression, anxiety, chronic illness, addictions, attention deficit hyperactivity/ disorder, and Bipolar can be addressed since they often lead to feeling like life can be difficult. Facing these emotional conditions may bring up difficult challenges for you. Difficult relationships, intergenerational trauma, childhood trauma, relational stress, abuse, grief, loss, low self-esteem, the cycle of life transitions, and co-dependency issues can impact the quality of life. I aim to assist you in harnessing your inner strengths and building resiliency to manage and thrive during difficult times, and life transitions. I have experience utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, solutions-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, positive psychology approaches, and mindfulness practices. I help clients connect with the meaning of their thoughts, feelings, and actions. I have had the privilege to guide the following populations: college students, women and their concerns, domestic violence survivors, survivors of sexual abuse, gay men (MSM), immigrants, victims of abuse, adults, and seniors. I am a graduate of Antioch University, Los Angeles, California. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. My undergraduate degree is in Chicano Studies from California University Dominguez Hills, Carson, California.
