Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with adult individuals and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, self-worth concerns, and difficult life transitions. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. We can start with what feels most important to you.

My hope is to offer a space where you can feel comfortable being honest about what hurts, what feels confusing, and what you may have been carrying on your own. I approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and respect for each person's unique experiences. We work together to understand emotional and relationship patterns, reconnect with your strengths and needs, and find changes that feel meaningful in your life. I draw from attachment-based, experiential, somatically informed, and person-centered approaches. My work with couples is also informed by training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in attachment and connection. Our relationships shape how we see ourselves, how safe we feel with others, and how we respond when we fear being hurt, rejected, or left alone. Many of the reactions we criticize in ourselves began as ways of coping or staying emotionally safe. Together, we can understand these protective patterns with compassion and explore whether they are still helping you today.

My work is experiential and somatically informed. Together, we may slow down and gently notice what is happening emotionally and physically in the moment. We can explore needs that have been difficult to express and practice new ways of responding. This may include grounding, breath awareness, guided emotional exploration, and learning to listen to the information your body is giving you. The goal is for change to become something you can feel and carry into daily life, rather than something you understand only intellectually.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief loss and transitions and personal growth.
