Teresa Lomax

Teresa Lomax is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Hollywood, Florida, working with teens and adults who struggle with their mental health. Mrs. Lomax has extensive experience in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, depression and more. She studied at both Barry and Liberty Universities where she earned both Master’s and Post-Master’s degrees. She also worked in a busy group private practice where she honed her medication management and talk therapy skills.

Her treatment approach is rooted in collaboration, empowerment, and brief, solution focused therapy. Active, compassionate listening skills have been a crucial part of her practice and patients' success and progress. Her main goals for patients include learning ways to manage mental health symptoms and lead meaningful, purpose-filled lives. Along with finding the right medication if needed, Teresa Lomax coaches her patients to develop problem solving skills to assist with reaching their goals.
