Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Counselor Education and over 15 years of experience working as a therapist, guidance counselor, and board-certified coach across school, community, home-based, and private practice settings . I’ve also worked in crisis management, which allows me to stay grounded, flexible, and supportive even when life feels overwhelming.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, addictions, and life transitions. I am committed to creating a non-judgmental, inclusive space and openly welcome clients from LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, and other alternative communities. I also celebrate neurodiversity and tailor treatment to each individual.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is both practical and compassionate. I use evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, along with psychoeducation and expressive approaches like Psychodrama. Clients often describe me as direct, down-to-earth, and genuinely engaged—I won’t just listen, but actively help you build insight, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I value the therapeutic relationship as a key part of successful treatment and view therapy as a collaborative process. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll work together to help you better understand yourself and move toward a life that feels more manageable and aligned with who you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, non-judgmental space. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’d like to get out of it, and any concerns or questions you may have.

I’ll ask some background questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and strengths, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we’ll go at your pace. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and understood from the start.

We’ll also begin identifying initial goals and talk about what working together might look like, including the approaches I use and how I can best support you. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction and whether I’m the right fit for you.
