Greetings! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in Florida. I have a Master's of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I work primarily with adults wanting to process anxiety and trauma. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and I am Level 2 Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I have also received training with Brainspotting.
Beginning therapy with me starts with a process of building relationship and creating safety so that we can work deeply to achieve your therapy goals. I work to be attuned to your experiencing and help provide a pathway for better understanding of your internal world. We will work together to identify thoughts or beliefs that are negatively impacting your day to day life and work with them to heal the pain points that keep them in place. We do all this moving at the speed of trust.
My goal is for clients to walk away from sessions with a greater understanding of themselves, but most of all compassion for their experiences. My hope is that once healing begins happening, my client's will feel a physical sense of lightness as they release experiences that weigh them down. My clients learn coping techniques and strategies along the way and eventually have a better understanding of the neurobiology that goes hand in hand with the way they interact with the world.
