Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Terra Crowl, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, dedicated to guiding individual adults through anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, relationship issues, life stress, transitions, and personal growth. I earned my MSW from California State University, East Bay with a specialization in Children, Youth & Families, and have supported clients in hospitals, human services agencies, schools, and non-profits. Over the past 8 years, I’ve been able to work closely and diligently with clients to promote inner peace, hope and clarity while providing practical coping strategies, accountability and compassion for clients during high difficulty and stress in their lives.

Please note that couples therapy is offered on a private-pay basis only, at a rate pf $250 per session per couple, and I do not accept insurance for couples or family sessions.

I understand that many clients have out-of-network (OON) benefits, and I am happy to provide a superbill upon request for clients who wish to submit it to their insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to see if they reimburse for OON therapy services.

For any questions regarding fees, payment plans, or the superbill process, feel free to reach out.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual goals. I integrate:

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): Cultivating psychological flexibility and values-driven action
  • MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy): Developing non-judgmental awareness to shift unhelpful thought patterns
  • Solution-Focused & Strengths-Based Methods: Leveraging the resources you already possess
  • Psychodynamic & Attachment-Informed Exploration: Understanding how past relationships shape your present patterns
  • Motivational Interviewing: Clarifying values, setting action-oriented goals, and designing sustainable habits

What you can expect from me

Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that honors both your therapeutic needs and your personal wellness goals.

What clients can expect to take away from sessions with you?

  • Holistic Toolkit: Mindfulness exercises, stress-management strategies, and Motivational interviewing techniques to explore your own reasons for change, elicit intrinsic motivation, and collaboratively set personalized, actionable goals.
  • Personal Insight: Clarity around emotional and relational patterns fueling anxiety and conflict
  • Resilience and Empowerment: A strengths-based toolkit to navigate stressors, relationship challenges, and life transitions with confidence
  • Clear, Measurable Goals: Tailored objectives—whether reducing panic, processing loss, improving communication, or advancing personal goals—and supportive check-ins on your progress
