Great to meet you!

I provide compassionate, strengths-based therapy to support individuals navigating life’s most difficult seasons, including trauma, major life transitions, and grief. My approach centers on helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they work through emotional challenges and move toward healing and resilience.

I specialize in grief and loss, adjustment to terminal illness, and anxiety. Using process-oriented and compassion-focused counseling techniques, I help clients explore their experiences at a deeper level while developing practical tools for emotional balance and self-understanding. I am also trained in Brainspotting, an evidence-based trauma therapy that supports clients in processing deep emotional pain and unresolved trauma in a safe and supportive environment.

My goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, respected, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, integrating process-oriented counseling and Brainspotting to support clients through grief, anxiety, and life’s most challenging transitions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and I strive to make the process as gentle and approachable as possible.

I often describe therapy as looking together at the “backpack” each of us carries through life. Inside are our experiences, losses, worries, strengths, and memories—some helpful, some heavy. Together, we will explore what you’ve been carrying and gently work toward making that load lighter.

We will spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. You will have the opportunity to share your concerns, goals, and hopes at your own pace. There is no pressure to disclose more than you are ready to share.

I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, background, and current challenges. Together, we will begin identifying your strengths, resources, and areas where you would like support. This helps us create a personalized approach that fits your unique needs.
