Anxiety, Depression, Sleep disorder, and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I earned my graduate degree in 2010. I then earned my independent licensure for therapy services. I was formally supervised and trained in multiple therapy styles. I have worked with adults experiencing stress disorders, trauma history, major depression, anxiety, suicidal thinking, obsessional thinking and compulsive behaviors, attention and focusing difficulties and emotional control challenges. I have continued to work with adults experiencing these issues with high clinical success outcomes.

A bit about my approach to therapy

You can expect my approach to be inquisitive and I will gather information about you over your lifetime. Each session will be dedicated to noticing progress and strategies you are using. I will use motivational interviewing for engagement. We will consider unhelpful thoughts and behaviors as well as coping strategies when life gets challenging. We will determine what is important to you, what pulls you away from what is important to you and what will bring you back to what is important to you.

What you can expect from our first session

There are three take aways I hope for all clients. First to leave each session with hope and confidence. Second to leave each session with new and helpful perspectives. Third to leave with new skills to use in between sessions.
