Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Terrence Fenderson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience supporting individuals through meaningful personal change. My approach is grounded in compassion, clinical expertise, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. In addition to my LCSW, I also hold an MBA, which strengthens my ability to understand complex systems, problem‐solve, and help clients navigate both personal and professional challenges. I work collaboratively with clients to create a safe, structured, and empowering space for healing and growth. I look forward to helping you move toward clarity, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

In my work as a therapist, I take a direct and honest approach because meaningful change happens when we’re willing to look at what’s not working and actively do something different. I challenge my clients—not to criticize, but to help them break old patterns, build insight, and move toward the life they want. I believe you are the true change agent in your own story, and my role is to guide, support, and push you in the moments when you need it most. Our work together will be solution‐driven, focused on practical steps that create real movement rather than staying stuck in the problem. Throughout the process, you can expect encouragement, accountability, and a therapeutic partnership designed to help you grow with clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In a first session with me, you can expect a conversation that is warm, straightforward, and focused on understanding what brings you in and what you want to change. I’ll ask targeted questions to get a clear picture of your history, current challenges, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. You can also expect me to be direct—I won’t shy away from naming what I see or gently challenging you when it helps move you toward growth. Together, we’ll begin identifying practical, solution‐focused steps you can take, because I believe you are the primary agent of change and my role is to help you activate that power. By the end of the session, you’ll have a sense of direction, a clearer understanding of how we’ll work together, and encouragement to begin making meaningful progress.
