Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Terri Carsley and I have been practicing as a Marriage and Family therapist for the last 16 years. I am a transplant from the East Coast, but have lived in Los Angeles for over 30 years. I have a background in treating addiction and trauma. I am an advanced level somatic practitioner, using both my talk therapy and trauma therapy to help individuals, couples and families achieve healthy communication and heal emotional wounds.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients from a humanistic perspective. I believe that building a therapeutic relationship is vital to achieving a safe space. I want them to know who they are talking to and feel secure in the process we have created together to assist them in moving forward in achieving their goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm and inviting environment, filled with compassion and understanding. I look to my clients to set their goals and pace. I hope that they will have a positive experience developing a therapeutic relationship in order to have a partner on what can be a challenging journey and not feel they are in it alone.
