Great to meet you!

My name is Terri Ducker and I have been working as a Licensed Therapist for over 19 years after getting my degree in Humanistic Psychology. I have worked extensively in community mental health and on college campuses. I love working with college students, high achieving women and with adults who feel stuck, have a history of trauma and are ready to make a change in their life.

Therapy feels intimidating. But so does white-knuckling through another week. Seriously. Life can feel like a grind—stress at work, complicated relationships, and the sense that no one really sees you. If you’re facing burnout, unhappiness, or just trying to figure out what’s next, therapy can help you pause, breathe, and realign with what matters most.

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit. Therapy is one of the best tools for getting unstuck, gaining clarity, and creating a life that fits. My role is to help you feel supported, notice what’s right (not just what feels wrong), and take steps that move you forward.

My approach to therapy

I take an eclectic, personalized approach—drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person-Centered Therapy, and CBT—to help you reconnect with your strengths and shift the patterns that keep you stuck. I also work with many high achievers who need a balance of counseling and coaching to move toward the next version of themselves.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is real: sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry, and we always keep it honest. I show up with curiosity, humor, and directness, creating a safe space where you can feel seen, supported, and challenged in the best way. My goal is for you to leave each session clearer, lighter, and more confident in your next steps.
