Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I am warm, compassionate, and deeply committed to their healing. I’m Terri Moser, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California and Utah, specializing in trauma therapy. I’m trained in EMDR, IFS, A.R.T., and Gottman Couples Therapy, and I have personally experienced the healing power of EMDR—an experience that strongly shapes how I support my clients.

I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your experiences at your own pace. I also bring extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, and grief. My goal is to walk alongside you with empathy, skill, and hope, helping you move toward greater peace, healing, and renewed joy in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you. I focus primarily on trauma recovery, using evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.). I am also very comfortable working with ADHD and neurodivergent clients, and I approach each person with respect for their unique way of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world.

I understand that starting therapy—or revisiting difficult experiences—can feel challenging, especially when you’re navigating anxiety, depression, or grief. You won’t do this alone. Together, we will gently explore your emotions and experiences while building practical skills to help you manage life’s difficulties with greater confidence and balance. My goal is to ensure you feel safe, understood, and supported every step of the way as we work toward healing, clarity, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, supportive, and welcoming environment where you are free to share at your own pace. We’ll focus on getting to know you—what brings you to therapy, what you’re struggling with, and what you hope to change. There is no pressure to go into anything you’re not ready to discuss.

We’ll talk about how your past experiences may be affecting you emotionally and behaviorally, including anxiety, depression, or grief, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. I’ll explain how therapy can help and what our work together may look like, while answering any questions you have.

You can expect therapy with me to be purposeful and growth-focused. I’ll support you in building tools to manage emotions, increase self-understanding, and create a sense of safety and resilience. My goal is to help you begin moving toward a heart of peace and a brighter, more fulfilling future—together.
