Great to meet you!

For forty years, I've worked alongside people who feel stuck: parents and teenagers trying to find their way back to each other, and people navigating a loss or life change they aren't sure how to move through. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania, and what drives my practice is a simple belief: you can fit better into your own life. I work most often with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and the complicated dynamics of relationships. Whatever brought you here, I'd be glad to hear about it.

My approach to therapy

I draw primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which means we spend time noticing the thinking patterns that quietly fuel depression, anxiety, or a stuck sense of self. Alongside CBT, I use Motivational Interviewing to help you clarify what you actually want, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy to keep our work practical and forward-moving. Sessions are conversational, not clinical. We'll talk like two people trying to figure something out together.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a conversation, not an intake form. We'll talk about what's weighing on you right now, what you'd like to be different, and what working together might look like. By the end, you'll have a clearer sense of how I work and whether it feels like the right fit. Most people leave that first session feeling heard, and a little more hopeful.
