Great to meet you!

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or substance use. You don’t have to go through it alone. I work with adults, youth, families, and veterans who feel stuck and want to better understand themselves, build coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I specialize in trauma and PTSD, including military trauma, as well as mood disorders and co-occurring substance use. I also have experience supporting veterans and individuals involved in the legal system.

As a Navy combat veteran, I bring a deep understanding of military culture, resilience, and the real impact of trauma. My goal is to create a respectful, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, direct, and grounded in practical, evidence-based methods. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing to help you build tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

We’ll focus on developing coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and helping you regain a sense of control and direction. I aim to meet you where you are while also challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck, so you can move forward with more clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what’s bringing you in and what you want to change. I’ll ask questions to get a clear picture of your experiences, current challenges, and goals.

You can expect a straightforward, supportive conversation where you don’t feel judged or rushed. We’ll begin identifying practical next steps and tools that can help right away, while also setting a foundation for the work ahead.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and more hopeful about what’s possible.
