Great to meet you!
Hi! My name is Tess, and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My background spans a wide variety of high-acuity settings, including psychiatric emergency services, crisis stabilization, partial hospitalization, and community mental health. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as both a Mental Health Specialist and Registered Nurse on the specialized schizophrenia and bipolar disorders unit at McLean Hospital. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Skidmore College, my B.S.N. from Northeastern University, and my M.S.N. from the University of California - San Francisco.
I provide evidence based care for adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, OCD, trauma, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. I practice with a neurodiversity-informed approach. As both a clinician and someone who has personally navigated the healthcare system, I understand how frustrating it can be to feel unheard or rushed. Your concerns will be taken seriously, your questions are always welcome, and your treatment decisions are made together.
