Great to meet you!

Many of us learn to survive difficult experiences long before we ever have the chance to heal from them. Anxiety, relationship struggles, grief, and feeling constantly overwhelmed often make sense when we understand the experiences that shaped us. Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of those patterns, and begin creating lasting change.

For more than 11 years, I worked in Texas school districts and child welfare, supporting children, adolescents, and families through foster care, adoption, trauma, family conflict, and major life transitions. Those experiences taught me to look beyond behaviors and symptoms to understand the whole person. Today, I work with adolescents, adults, women, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, ADHD, and family issues. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported while building practical tools for everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with purpose. My style is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. I'll ask thoughtful questions, offer honest feedback, and help you recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck while respecting your pace throughout the process.

I tailor therapy to your unique needs by drawing from Trauma Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based CBT, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Together, we'll build practical strategies to manage anxiety, process difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and help you feel more confident navigating life's challenges. If something isn't working, we'll adjust our approach because therapy should be personalized to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply a chance for us to get to know one another. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what's been weighing on you, and what you hope will be different.

There is no pressure to share more than you're ready for. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable while identifying your goals and beginning to understand the patterns behind your experiences. By the end of our first session, you'll leave with a clearer direction, a plan for moving forward, and the reassurance that you don't have to navigate this alone.
