Tessa Harvick

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas with more than 11 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. My professional background includes eight years working within school districts and three years in child welfare, specializing in foster care and adoption services.

I earned both my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Houston. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong understanding of the challenges children and families face while navigating trauma, loss, life transitions, attachment concerns, and complex family dynamics.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and direct. I utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions while maintaining a strengths-based perspective that recognizes each client's resilience and capacity for growth. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families navigate difficult experiences, strengthen emotional well-being, and build the confidence needed to thrive. Whether addressing the effects of trauma, processing grief, managing emotional challenges, or improving family relationships, I am committed to walking alongside clients on their journey toward healing and growth.
