Great to meet you!

Welcome. Seeking help and support is a huge first step that can be scary and I am honored to be considered to join you along your journey of healing, self improvement, and working towards achieving your goals. I have worked in mental health for 18 years and have experience working in residential treatment centers, homeless shelters, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, juvi, jails, prisons, ERs, County crisis work, and private practice settings providing individual and group therapy virtually.

My approach to therapy

Throughout my journey I gained experience in many areas of mental health and now specialize in working with mood disorders, trauma, and relationships. My focus is on healing and skills building. I work from a variety of modalities (CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, psychodynamic, Somatic Experiences, and more) as clinically appropriate. The focus is always on healing and working towards accomplishing the clients identified goals.

What you can expect from me

I am direct, candid, and solution focused and do my best to balance that with compassion, curiosity, open mindedness, and psycho education. I believe we are a team and I can provide support, skills building, psycho education, and alternative perspectives along your journey. If a client’s treatment needs are outside of my training and experience, i.e. scope of practice I will discuss and provide appropriate referrals to help the client get the care, help, and support they truly need.
