Great to meet you!

Hey, I’m really glad you’re here. My focus is helping you feel truly heard and understood while we work through whatever’s been weighing on you... whether that’s feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just off. I’m trained in EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Gottman couples counseling, and play therapy, and I’m solution-focused while still moving at your pace, offering support and gentle challenge so growth feels meaningful and lasting.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling and Psychology, and I work with teens and adults in a warm, supportive, and personalized way. I have 7 years of experience in the field, including 4 years providing direct, face-to-face clinical care, and have worked with a variety of concerns including trauma, parenting, life transitions, and military-related experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I focus on creating a space where you feel safe to be yourself, explore what’s coming up, and make sense of your experiences without judgment. I use evidence-based approaches like EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy to help process difficult experiences, while also supporting present-day challenges like stress, relationships, and emotional regulation. I’m solution-focused, meaning we work toward real, practical change; but I also respect your pace and make sure you feel supported every step of the way. I’ll meet you where you are, use your strengths, and gently challenge you when it’s helpful for your growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and relaxed space where we’ll start getting to know each other. You’ll have the opportunity to share what’s been going on at your own pace, and I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, goals, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. Together, we’ll begin to identify what feels most important to focus on and what meaningful progress could look like for you. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and a little more at ease about the process moving forward.
