Hello my name is Dr. Maurice-Butler, Thamar and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who studied at Florida International University where I earned my Doctorate in Nursing Practice and Post Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner then was Board Certified with ANCC. I am also a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have a passionate to care for individuals in need mentally, physically and emotionally. I offer virtual behavioral health services.
Dr. Maurice-Butler want to help as many individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar among other mental illness including cognitive behavioral therapy. I thrive in building a rapport with my patients in all healthcare environments with the necessary care to live vibrant, healthy lives. I provide support for a wide range of mental health needs. (Depression, Trauma, Addition, Bipolar, PTSD, and many other conditions).
Clients will walk away with more knowledge of their condition such as depression, Bipolar disorder with psychosis, Stress-related disorders, such as anxiety, Neurodevelopmental disorders, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and Feeding and eating disorders how to cope with their unstable condition(s), Providing patient and family education, Providing preventative care, Psychotherapy, Counseling and treatment, Prescribing medication, Ordering and interpreting labs, x-rays, and EKGs.
