Great to meet you!

I am a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW, licensed since 2004 continuously to the present time. I am open to diversity and routinely work with clients of all backgrounds.

I work with adults, teens, and couples, addressing a range of everyday challenges including adjustment difficulties, depression, anxiety, sleep disruptions, relationship struggles, and work-related stressors. When working with trauma, I focus on how its impact manifests in daily functioning, helping clients build practical strategies for resilience.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches. My practice is grounded in research-supported interventions to foster resilience, adaptability, and meaningful change.

Sessions begin with a structured check-in, allowing clients to present their agenda items for discussion. Together, we collaboratively explore concerns, identify challenges, and develop strategies aimed at symptom reduction and problem resolution. My approach is interactive and solution-oriented, ensuring that each session is aligned with the client's personal goals.

What you can expect from me

My treatment approach integrates guided discovery, cognitive restructuring, cognitive reframing, body-based experiential exercises, mindfulness meditation, and exposure therapy. Every intervention is selected based on its empirical support in research, ensuring an evidence-based practice. I continuously expand my expertise through ongoing training to incorporate the latest advancements in therapy.

Client progress is evaluated using standardized assessment tools, self-reported experiences, direct observations, and occasional input from family members or visitors attending sessions. This structured approach ensures that interventions remain effective and tailored to each client's evolving needs.

Ethical integrity is central to my practice. Sessions are designed exclusively for the client's benefit, with an unwavering focus on their agenda and well-being. My approach prioritizes transparency, professionalism, and adherence to the highest standards of care.
