I have an organization called Project Journey in which my team and I counsel autistic, behaviorally challenged, and developmentally disabled adults and children. We also take them out into the community and provide group therapy/didactics.
I have a master's degree in psychology and an LCADC which enables me to help individuals with addictions.
I believe in Person-Centered Therapy, Talk-Therapy and use motivational interviewing to help the client open up and feel more comfortable. Other forms of therapy I have found helpful in working with individuals are REBT and CBT. When working with younger individuals' storytelling, drawing and role-playing are key.
It is my hope that clients can be guided to honestly problem solve any issues they may have, turning a negative situation into a positive learning experience.
