Great to meet you!

My professional career spans adoption and foster care, early childhood intervention, adult & couples psychotherapy, to executive leadership as Clinical Director of two highly successful Mental Wellness Groups. These experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of how relational patterns develop across the lifespan and how early environments shape emotional resilience, attachment, and identity. Advanced training in neurobiology and attachment, along with Emotionally Focused Therapy, further strengthened my ability to work with the deeper emotional systems. I bring this integrated perspective into my work with individuals and couples, helping clients move beyond insight alone into meaningful, lasting relational change. I am also comfortable helping clients explore intimacy, desire, and sexuality with respect and emotional safety.

My approach to therapy

Something I know personally & professionally know, is that we all feel "stuck" in our lives on occasion. Sometimes, we move forward in the direction of our best intention; other times, we move away from where we want to be. I truly believe we all hold the answers within, but sometimes life challenges cause us to lose our way. It is my priority to learn what you want to experience, that is different from what you are experiencing now, & provide tools to support the change you seek for life. In our initial contact phone/email contact, I invite you to provide a brief description of the reason you are seeking therapy. If we seem like a good fit, we'll schedule an appointment to meet in person or online. My preference is in-person sessions, although online is an option.

What you can expect from me

My primary goal is to understand you — your story, your challenges, and what meaningful change would look like for you. I approach our work with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. While I will offer insight and thoughtful recommendations, our work is always collaborative. Together, we begin by clarifying your goals, strengthening emotional safety, and creating a foundation for growth that feels both supportive and empowering. I strongly believe that the most important relationship, is the one we have with ourselves, and my goal for you, is to support you, as you grow into a deeper known self.
