Great to meet you!

With over 25 years of experience working with individuals and families in the public school system, I have developed a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, challenges, and potential each person brings to their journey. My experience has taught me the importance of listening, building meaningful connections, and creating a supportive environment where individuals and families feel heard, valued, and empowered.

My passion is helping people discover the strengths and tools they already possess within themselves to navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and become the best version of themselves. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and positive change, and that with the right support and guidance, meaningful transformation is possible.

I strive to provide a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based approach that honors each person’s experiences and goals. Whether working with individuals, couples or families, my goal is to help clients recognize their potential, develop practical strategies, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater confidence and self-awareness. I believe that growth begins with understanding ourselves, recognizing our strengths, and taking steps toward the life we want to create.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that every individual has a unique story that deserves to be heard and understood. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences, expressing their concerns, and exploring the challenges they face.

I believe that each person brings their own strengths, experiences, and potential for growth into the therapeutic process. Together, we will identify and build upon those strengths, address your concerns, and establish clear, meaningful goals that reflect your individual needs and priorities. My approach is collaborative, honoring your voice and empowering you to take an active role in your journey toward growth and positive change. My goal is to help you recognize the strengths you already possess, develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges, and move toward becoming the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is an opportunity for us to begin building a trusting, supportive therapeutic relationship. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I strive to create a respectful, compassionate, and welcoming environment where you feel heard, understood, and valued. Your experiences, feelings, and perspectives matter, and I want you to feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace without fear of judgment.

Together, we will explore your concerns, identify your strengths, and begin establishing clear, realistic therapeutic goals that reflect your needs and priorities. My approach is collaborative and grounded in care, respect, and validation. I believe therapy is a partnership, and your voice will be an essential part of the process. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful as we begin working together toward meaningful growth and positive change.
