Great to meet you!

Hello.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addiction Professional, and Qualified Clinical Supervisor, I believe prioritizing self-care for substance use disorders and mental health is the answer to improving one's life and achieving happiness. I have been practicing with a diverse population for 25+ years and specialize in addiction, mental health and stage of life issues.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a client centered approach, motivational interviewing, trauma informed therapy and empowerment. I believe that substance abuse issues are a symptom of an underlying problem. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a standard approach that I use along with an introduction to 12 step engagement and relapse preventions skills development.

What you can expect from me

A comfortable, supportive session during which communication is key. An introductory "getting to know you" and how best to meet your needs via the completion of simple assessments and listening to your issues and concerns.
