Theresa Frucht

I am a compassionate, person-centered counselor. Some of my other roles include wife, mother, grandmother, dog mom, cat mom, and horse mom. I have 13 years working with families in education; the last 4 of those years as a counselor. I currently have a private practice and I see clients in person and via telehealth. I work with most populations above the age 16. My specialties are trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and family/couples, but I have experience in many other areas as well.

I use a variety of client-centered, therapeutic approaches that are designed to help you have a more satisfying and settled life. In our sessions, we will look into past circumstances that led you here, and together we will establish goals and behavior modifications designed to get your life and mental wellness back on track.

After the initial intake session, my clients and I will formulate counseling goals and a treatment plan designed to help them attain the outcomes they most desire. Because I am a behaviorist, I will introduce fun and reasonable activities to my clients that will allow them to take an active role in their own healing outside of the therapy session. We will meet weekly where the goals will be measured, reviewed and tweaked if necessary.
