Welcome! I’m Theresa, an LPC located in Wisconsin. Congratulations on taking the first step to finding mental health care ! I have experience in the mental health field for 6+ years. I work with ages 5 and older. My education includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling. I use a variety of modalities and interventions to fit my clients needs. Major focuses in my work include trauma focused therapy, and treating anxiety disorders.
I view therapy as a joint venture built on trust and authenticity. I help individuals use their strengths to address their unmet mental health needs, and to improve their over-all quality of life. With a caring and empathetic approach, I provide a safe space for clients to feel heard while navigating their mental health challenges.
I help my clients to better understand themselves, increase awareness of their emotions and explore past experiences that may be impacting their mental health. My goal is to help clients become more educated on what’s going on internally and to give them the tools they need to meet their goals. Whether you’re adjusting to life’s curve balls, needing new coping skills, or are ready to work through complex trauma, I want to help support you through your journey!
