Great to meet you!

Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported throughout your healing journey. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Counseling Psychology. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in the belief that healing is possible even after life's most difficult experiences.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, identity development, relationship concerns, and stress. I have experience working with first responders, individuals affected by chronic stress and trauma, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I also have a special interest in supporting clients who are exploring the intersection of mental health, identity, and spirituality.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and authentic. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I work alongside clients to better understand their experiences, strengthen resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting emotional well-being. I integrate evidence-based approaches with each client's unique strengths, values, and goals to create treatment that feels both meaningful and individualized.

Whether you're processing a difficult season, working through past experiences, or simply looking to better understand yourself, my goal is to help you move toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more aligned with who you are and who you hope to become.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I use evidence-based practices through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. Together, we'll build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. For clients who desire it, I also offer spiritually integrated therapy that honors the role of faith and personal values in the healing process.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We'll discuss your concerns, your goals, and any relevant background while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered as we begin building a plan for your healing and growth.
