Great to meet you!

Theresa's interest in Clinical Social Work began as a nurse working in the Addictions field. Her training in the US Army and work in a variety of clinical settings set the stage for her education in Social Work. She completed her Master’s in Social Work at Western Carolina University with a concentration in Substance Abuse. Theresa utilizes Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavior Therapy in her practice. Her work with clients stems from a strengths-based and person centered approach.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Theresa brings a genuine, empathetic and open-hearted energy into her counseling practice. She offers a safe space to open up and process what you are going through.
