Great to meet you!

Maybe you’re the person who can understand exactly why you do something and still find yourself doing it. You might replay conversations, question your reactions, or wonder whether you’re asking for too much.

You may be highly capable in many areas of your life yet relationships bring out a different side of you such as overthinking, people pleasing, pulling away, becoming guarded, or struggling to know or trust what you feel. My work is especially suited for people who want to understand what’s underneath these patterns and find a clearer path forward so you can make choices with greater confidence and self trust. Together we will explore how your experiences and relationships have shaped the way you see and protect yourself, and how you connect with others. This is some of my favorite work.

I use an attachment based and relational approach alongside CBT, mindfulness, inner child work, grief processing, nervous system awareness, and somatic practices.

Clients come to me for support with anxiety, self-esteem, relationship and family challenges, grief, and major changes in their lives.

I also have experience supporting clients through caregiving and aging parent concerns, long- term relationship loss, pet loss, and the ways addiction can impact individuals and families.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm and inquisitive, but also proactive. We’ll get curious about the patterns that show up in your life, and see whether they still serve you. Therapy with me is a balance of gaining insight and practicing new ways of responding so change carries into your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

I am genuinely curious and love learning about people. You can expect me to be engaged and interested in understanding your experience. I’ll ask questions, reflect patterns I notice, and help us stay connected to the reason you came into therapy wanting to change. No need to arrive knowing exactly what to talk about every time or how to explain what you’re feeling. Part of our work is slowing things down enough to understand what is happening inside and helping you get clearer and more confident on a path forward. I welcome honesty and feedback about what is and isn’t working, so we can shape therapy in a way that feels most helpful to you.
