Therese Fletcher

Welcome! My name is Thérèse G. Fletcher, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 15 years in medical and social services fields. I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background, dedicating my life to the service of others. I enjoy helping people with problems both big and small: Relationship issues, life transitions, grief, loss, emotional stress, and chronic illnesses, are among the many areas I have assisted my clients effectively deal with & overcome.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process and it's my responsibility to meet a client where they are, finding clarity from chaos, and to help them set appropriate, beneficial goals for themselves. I prefer a positive & holistic person-centered approach to therapy. I can provide short-term solution-oriented as well as long-term emotional processing. Your treatment goals and how much you will benefit from services are completely up to you but I will be here to guide you every step of the way.

Setting a safe space and building rapport are important during our sessions through conversations that result in growth & insight. I believe a successful therapeutic relationship is based on respect and relaying of empathy. I believe in a strength-based approach which identifies strengths and uplifts confidence and empowers you as an individual. I can help you with emotional issues and the areas of your life that become affected by them such as relationships, communication, work or education.
