Great to meet you!

I'm Thesla Lander, a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with over 10 years of experience working with adults facing a range of mental health challenges. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma (including PTSD), low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and have worked in both outpatient and private practice settings. I’m passionate about helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they move through life’s transitions and challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and collaborative. I believe each client brings a unique story, and I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs and goals. I use an eclectic blend of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. My style is warm, empathetic, and down-to-earth,I work to create a space where you feel safe to be yourself and explore what’s holding you back.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with greater self-awareness, practical tools for managing emotions, and a stronger sense of clarity and confidence. Together, we’ll work to identify patterns, build coping strategies, and set meaningful goals that support long-term growth. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or working toward personal development, you’ll be met with compassion, respect, and a commitment to helping you thrive.
