Great to meet you!

My path into mental health care began in medicine, where I learned to see the whole person behind every chart. Over time, I noticed how often people were left waiting months for a follow-up after starting a new psychiatric medication, and I knew care could feel more responsive, more human, and more connected than that. After leaving traditional practice, I moved into roles that let me focus on mental health, and I quickly found the work I was meant to do. Today I bring that same attentiveness and clinical training to every person I work with. If you have been carrying something quietly and waiting for the right person to hear it, you have likely found a good place to start.

My approach to therapy

I take a whole-person approach, which means we look at your mind, body, and spirit together to build a plan around what actually moves you toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. Together we set realistic, meaningful goals, and the plan we create might include lifestyle shifts, nutrition and supplementation, therapy, targeted lab work, and medication when it supports your progress. I am thoughtful and intentional with prescribing: I consider each medication on its own purpose, effectiveness, and how well your body responds to it, so that everything in your plan is there for a clear reason and truly serves you. I draw on motivational interviewing and supportive therapy to help you connect with your own reasons for change. Above all, I hold to one guiding principle, care that does good and keeps you safe. I stay transparent about my role and how I work, I honor the cultural values and beliefs you bring with you, and you always have a say in whether this approach feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is where you get to be fully heard. I will listen closely, ask what brought you in, and work with you toward a solution that feels right to both of us. You can expect me to be personable, engaged, and genuinely interested in your story. I will also be clear about my role, what I can offer, and what our work together could look like, so you leave with a real sense of the path ahead. My hope is that by the end, you find yourself thinking, "yes, I want to keep working with this person."
