Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed mental health counselor and board-certified music therapist with over 15 years of experience. I'm also a clinical specialist with those with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. I've worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of other concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems and Bi-Polar disorder. In addition, I am a grief and loss specialist helping those dealing with grief and loss from the death of a loved one and coordinates weekly bereavement groups.

My therapy style is open, caring, positive, meeting clients where they are. I believe in treating people with the utmost respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and offering unconditional positive regard.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines person centered, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, eclectic, and family system philosophies. I also combine empathy with a solution-based approach and tailor my treatment plans as needed. Combining mental health counseling with other creative approaches such as music therapy offers a unique way of meeting my clients specific needs.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect. a safe, non-judgmental space where they can share their experiences and receive validation for their emotions and what they are going through. In the first session, I encourage clients to share their background and goals, and will listen intently to their perspective so we can work together to find solutions to problem areas.
