Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Thomas Haffner, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters Degree in that field. I enjoy helping individuals to learn and grow and relationships to thrive. For two decades it has been my honor and privilege to share many a journey of healing, understanding and transformation.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is an integration of modalities from a systemic perspective, which strives to consider the whole person along with that person's environments. I am friendly and non-judgemental, but not afraid to be direct in a kind, respectful manner. Much of my work with individuals is cognitive/behavioral, while my relationship therapy is largely informed by the research of Gottman and Johnson.

What you can expect from me

With individuals, I strive to help them gain and utilize the tools they need to succeed. My couples work focuses on helping partners understand their respective roles in the relationship and how they can both create a safe, secure, lasting connection together.
