Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor (M.Ed. Community & Addictions Counseling), I offer experienced support for addiction, men's issues, and mood disorders. My approach is collaborative and warm, drawing from my diverse background, including a transition from the US Army in 2008. I create a non-judgmental space to explore your unique experiences and thought patterns. My strengths lie in connecting with individuals in early recovery from Substance Use Disorders, young adults, military personnel, the LGBTQ+ community, or those just struggling with life's challenges; tailoring evidence-based techniques to help you find lasting recovery and well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment where we explore your unique challenges. Utilizing my clinical and life experience, I focus on understanding the root of your struggles to empower you toward self-awareness and lasting change. Within a warm and trusting space, we'll tailor evidence-based techniques to address life stressors and mental health disorders.

What you can expect from me

We start by building a trusting and collaborative relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to counseling and your initial goals. We'll define clear, achievable goals and create a flexible treatment plan tailored to you, drawing on evidence-based practices. Based on your goals we'll explore thoughts and feelings, develop coping skills, gain insights, and work towards your goals. We'll regularly review your progress and adjust our approach as needed to ensure therapy remains effective. When you're ready, we'll plan for ending therapy, focusing on your achievements and how to maintain your progress independently.
