Great to meet you!

I've spent over 17 years sitting across from people in pain — and what I've learned is that the most powerful tool in therapy isn't a technique. It's the relationship between us. When you feel truly seen, heard, and accepted without judgment, something shifts. That's the therapeutic alliance, and it's the foundation of everything I do.

I specialize in working with individuals and families affected by substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. Whether you are stepping down from a more intensive level of care, trying to break a pattern on your own, or simply realizing that the way you have been coping is no longer working, I meet you where you are. Together, we explore what is

I will not ask you to fit into a box or reduce your story to a single label. I will ask you to be honest, to be curious, and to trust that change is possible even when it feels out of reach. My role is to create a space where you can exhale, where you can say the things you have not said out loud, and where you can begin to reconnect with the real you.

My approach to therapy

I help individuals and families untangle the overlap of substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, and unhealthy relationship patterns. Together, we build a personalized plan using evidence-based, trauma-informed care. My clients do not just stop old habits — they start understanding why, rebuild trust, set boundaries, and create a life that finally feels honest and their own.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really just a conversation — no pressure, no judgment, no need to have the right words. I know it can feel nerve-wracking to sit across from someone new and talk about things you may not have said out loud before, so I want you to know that my only goal in that first meeting is to make you feel comfortable and heard.
