Great to meet you!

I have 14 years of experience in the human services field, beginning during my studies at Stony Brook University, where I earned my Bachelors and Master's in Social Work. My early work included supporting at-risk youth and families through counseling, case management, and community-based programs, as well as gaining experience in substance use treatment. As a Licensed Master Social Worker and later a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked extensively with individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness and motivational interviewing.

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is collaborative and person-centered to meet the person where they are at. I aim to create a safe, supportive environment while using practical strategies like CBT and mindfulness to help individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop healthier coping skills.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a safe, supportive environment where I focus on getting to know them and their concerns. We’ll discuss goals, review relevant background, and begin building a plan for how we’ll work together—all at a pace that feels comfortable.
