Great to meet you!

Thomas Palmieri has experience that provides him a special awareness of the importance of collaborative client care. He believes that effective therapy consists of the therapist opening the "map" and the client taking the "driver's seat" in the therapeutic relationship. This leads to client autonomy, growth, and a realization that mental health recovery is necessary and possible.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is individually-tailored to each client. The intake process consists of completing a standard intake questionnaire, which gives me an understanding of what you're experiencing so that we can prioritize your immediate needs. I believe in a person-centered and collaborative approach to therapy. This entails goal setting to gauge treatment progress.

What you can expect from me

We will build upon your strengths, and I will provide you tools you can utilize outside of the therapy sessions.
