Thomas Pingue

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I worked for 14 years as board-certified psychiatric registered nurse in various in-patient settings throughout the Philadelphia area. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive clinical experience with caring for individuals across all stages of life who were experiencing a wide range of mental health or substance abuse issues.

I treat anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia and other thought disorders, OCD, panic disorder, anger/irritability/aggression, substance use disorders, and other areas of concern.

I am committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where you will feel heard, unjudged, and understood. My philosophy is centered around collaboration and shared-decision making. My practice is rooted in evidence-based care that provides results. It took a lot of courage to take this first step. Allow me to help you get to where you want to be.

Our first session will last about 60 minutes or so. I will allow you to tell your stories and voice your thoughts and concerns. I will then ask you questions to get to know you better. We will then have a conversation about what you want from out professional relationship. Your opinion always matters, and we will work together to come up with a plan that you are comfortable with.
