Great to meet you!

In my post-grad studies, I completed a 3-year training to become a somatic experiencing practitioner. This is a mind-body approach initially developed as a way to heal various forms of trauma, but it can also be useful to treat anxiety and depression. Overall, I have an eclectic approach, that is holistic in nature.

My approach to therapy

I use a client-centered approach, and I specialize in trauma work. Whether it is combat-related, childhood trauma, sexual trauma, or abuse/neglect, or witnessing an overwhelming event, the goal is to foster resiliency and empowerment, and restore a sense of safety in the body.

What you can expect from me

My goal is always to help you find the way to becoming the best version of yourself. This may involve resolving trauma, managing anxiety or depression, increasing insight and awareness, resolving a difficult relationship, improving relationships, and/or learning assertiveness and establishing healthy boundaries.
