Great to meet you!

I’m a counselor with a military background, and that experience has shaped the way I connect with clients—through authenticity, structure, and a strong appreciation for resilience. I began my counseling journey in 2019, starting with in‐home therapy, where I gained valuable insight into meeting clients where they are and supporting them in real‐life environments. Over time, I transitioned into office-based work, where I continue to provide individual and couple counseling.

My clinical experience includes working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also specialize in Gottman Method couples therapy, helping partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen connection. Across all of these approaches, my goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with tools to navigate their challenges.

My approach to therapy

My style as a therapist is straightforward and direct, while still being compassionate and empathetic. I believe in being honest, clear, and supportive as I help clients understand their challenges and work toward meaningful change. I’m not afraid to gently push clients to become the best version of themselves, and I do so in a way that is respectful, encouraging, and grounded in their goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on building rapport and helping you feel comfortable. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to counseling, and clarifying your goals for therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand what you’re hoping to work on, what has been challenging, and what you want to achieve. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share concerns, and get a sense of my style as a therapist. By the end, we’ll have a clearer direction for our work together and begin forming a plan that supports your growth and well‐being.
