Great to meet you!

My name is Thomas, and I have been working in the field of recovery and addiction for more than 20 years. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals and families facing challenges related to addiction, mental health, relationships, and life transitions.

My primary focus is helping clients regain balance and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, navigating family conflict, working toward recovery from addiction, or simply feeling stuck, I believe therapy can provide a safe and supportive space to better understand yourself and develop effective solutions.

I take a collaborative approach to therapy and believe that meaningful change often involves not only the individual, but also the family and support systems around them. Together, we can identify strengths, address challenges, improve communication, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative approach to therapy and believe that meaningful change often involves not only the individual, but also the family and support systems around them. Together, we can identify strengths, address challenges, improve communication, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to create a comfortable, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and respected. We will begin by building rapport and developing a foundation of trust so that therapy can be a collaborative process.

We will then identify the primary concerns that brought you to therapy and establish clear goals and objectives for treatment. Together, we will discuss what you would like to accomplish and identify practical steps to begin working toward positive change.

Finally, we will establish a schedule that works for you and discuss the frequency of sessions that may best support your goals. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling understood, supported, and confident that we have a clear direction for moving forward.
