Great to meet you!

You have the ability to make meaningful, positive changes in your life, and counseling can provide support when that process feels difficult to navigate alone. I work with people living with chronic illnesses, as well as those who care for them, and this area is especially meaningful to me because of my own life experience. I also support individuals navigating stressful, stigmatizing, or misunderstood situations, including experiences of being falsely accused. With my counseling degree from Texas Tech University and my personal understanding of these challenges, I offer a grounded, compassionate space to help you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My goal as a counselor is to help you build insight, skills, and confidence to move forward with greater independence. Together, we will set goals, track progress, and adjust the counseling process based on what is most helpful for you. You are the expert on your own life, and I am here as a supportive, objective, and nonjudgmental resource.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will talk about what brings you to counseling, what you hope to gain from the process, and any concerns or questions you may have. I will also gather relevant background information so we can begin creating a plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.
