Great to meet you!

I believe that struggles with mental health can make us feel like we’re on the outside looking in — different, misunderstood, or even broken.

Many of the people I work with identify as the “black sheep” in their families or communities — thoughtful, self-aware, but carrying more than they should have to on their own.

My goal is to help you shift how you see those experiences. What feels like a weakness or flaw often has the potential to become a source of strength, insight, and growth.

I specialize in working with people who feel like they don’t quite fit in.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, direct, and grounded in helping you better understand yourself. I focus on increasing your awareness of your patterns, strengths, and the factors that keep you feeling stuck.

In our work together, we’ll use practical tools and strategies drawn from CBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy — combined with a more reflective, big-picture perspective influenced by existential therapy.

The goal isn’t just insight — it’s real, meaningful change that you can carry into your daily life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get a sense of each other and see if this feels like a good fit. I take a collaborative approach — you are the expert on your experience, and my role is to help guide the process.

We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been dealing with, and what you’re hoping will change.

I tend to be direct and engaged in sessions, and I also use humor when it fits — so you can expect the occasional bad joke along the way.
