Great to meet you!

Some experiences change the way you see yourself and the world around you. Maybe you've lived through trauma, spent years taking care of everyone else, struggled with addiction, or are carrying grief that feels impossible to put into words. You may look like you're functioning on the outside while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and former Army National Guard member and paramedic, I understand firsthand how trauma, crisis, and life's unexpected challenges can leave lasting emotional wounds. For more than eight years, I've helped adults navigate anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, end-of-life concerns, stress, and major life transitions. My goal is to provide a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood, process difficult experiences, and begin moving toward healing and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique experiences. Healing happens when we better understand the patterns that keep us feeling stuck and develop new ways of responding to life's challenges. Together, we'll identify your strengths, process difficult emotions, and create realistic goals that support long-term growth.

My work is grounded in trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based therapy, person-centered therapy, and resilience-focused interventions. Whether you're working through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, or stress, our sessions will focus on helping you build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create lasting, meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Our first sessions are an opportunity to slow down and make sense of what has brought you to therapy. We'll explore the challenges you're facing, discuss your goals, and create a plan that feels supportive and achievable.

Clients often leave therapy feeling heard, understood, and less alone in what they're carrying. Over time, many experience reduced anxiety, healthier coping skills, improved relationships, greater emotional resilience, and a renewed sense of direction and purpose. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can put down what has been weighing on you and begin building a life that feels more peaceful, connected, and fulfilling.
