Great to meet you!

Life is incredibly challenging, and it can be difficult to navigate at times, but it’s not something we have to face alone. We are meant for deep connection, built on a foundation of compassion and empathy. Our upbringing plays a crucial role in the development of our brain and nervous system, shaping how we interact with ourselves and the world around us. Have you ever raised your voice at someone when you didn’t mean to or said yes when you really wanted to say no? It’s never too late to understand who you are and how you show up in every relationship and setting.

We are not meant to go through life alone. Peter Levine once said, “Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness.” I’m here with you as an empathetic witness, helping you navigate the ebbs and flows of life and develop a deeper understanding of yourself along the way.

My approach to therapy

As a trauma-informed and somatic-based therapist, I love building meaningful connections with my clients and helping them understand their internal world and how it affects every aspect of their lives. My specialties include developmental neurobiology, complex trauma, and neurodivergence. As a neurodivergent therapist myself, I have a particular interest in working with adults who are exploring or navigating a later-in-life diagnosis of autism, ADHD, or other forms of neurodivergence. For many people, receiving a diagnosis later in life can bring both relief and grief as they begin to understand themselves through a new lens. I offer a space to explore that process with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, judgment-free space where we’ll begin getting to know you, your story, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore what you’re hoping to understand or change and begin identifying patterns in your relationships, emotions, and nervous system. Most importantly, you don’t have to have everything figured out. I’ll meet you where you are and we’ll take it one step at a time.
