I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a Vietnamese American Refugee Immigrant. I provide therapy with a lens from the trauma-informed care focus to assist my clients in healing from their past traumas with a path of mental wellness. I'm also a mother of two boys and been with my partner for 20 decades.

I use strength-based approaches using inclusive language. I evoke change using motivational interviewing interventions to seek my client's motivation. I have training on harm reduction, seeking safety, CBT-I, MI, Recovery Model, Solution-Focused, and trauma-informed care. My voice is typically calm and collected. I do work on being transparent with my clients, address their issues at hand when ready, and make positive changes to transform their lives. I am respectful of my client's decision, I provide active reflective listening and meet my client where they are at with their mental wellness journey.
I enjoy learning about my client's personal backgrounds and the reasons for them seeking therapy, goals they would like to achieve, and build a therapeutic alliance. I focus on what is a priority to my clients and discuss the pros and cons to ensure they are attainable.
