Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m so glad you stopped to read my profile. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience across education, nonprofit, medical, and private practice settings, providing support and guidance to diverse communities.
I earned my undergraduate degrees in Human/Community Service and Religious Studies–Family Ministries from Lenoir-Rhyne University, my Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, and my Doctorate in Human Services with a focus on Leadership and Organizational Management from Capella University.
My life’s journey has led me to specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, and self-awareness. While I work with people from all backgrounds, my lived experience as a Black, Deaf woman has given me a unique perspective and a passion for serving those from these marginalized communities who often feel unseen in mental health spaces.
My goal is to create a safe, affirming environment where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and thrive.
