Great to meet you!

You may know something needs to change but feel unsure where to begin. We can start there. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Master of Social Work, UT Arlington) with experience in inpatient behavioral health. My experience includes inpatient behavioral health, counseling survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and supporting children and families.

I help clients work through emotional distress, relationship challenges, boundaries, anger, and impulsive reactions. You may know something needs to change but feel unsure where to begin. We can start there.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, with room for humor. I want to understand what matters to you and help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Drawing on acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy skills, we’ll practice ways to manage difficult emotions and make choices that support the life you want. You don’t have to have everything figured out before we begin.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and collaborative. I take time to understand your experiences, what matters to you, and what you hope will change. I draw on acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy skills to help you explore patterns and manage difficult emotions. Together, we’ll practice tools you can use in everyday life and work toward your goals at a pace that fits you.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to listen closely, take your concerns seriously, and make space for you to speak openly without judgment. In our first sessions, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you would like help with. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, help you recognize patterns, and support you in considering your next steps. Your feedback is welcome throughout our work together so we can focus on what is most helpful to you.
